How Rankings Work

FAQs

What is the Juno Dental School Competition?
A friendly competition among dental programs to grow our collective negotiating power. The 3 programs with the highest percentage of their incoming class signed up by April 30 win a Juno-sponsored event on campus. 1st place: $5K event. 2nd and 3rd place: $2.5K event each.

How are the winners determined?
Schools are ranked by the percentage of their incoming class that has signed up. The leaderboard updates in real time and shows exactly how many more students each school needs to reach the top 3 or take 1st place.

Is this only for incoming students?
Yes, the competition counts students from the incoming class only.

How do I refer classmates?
Spread the word directly: text your groupchat, post in your class Facebook group, or just tell people in person. Ask your classmates to sign up and set their dental school on their profile. Every verified signup counts toward your school's total.

What do I get for referring someone?
For every classmate who (1) joins using your referral link and (2) takes out a student loan through our negotiated deal, you both receive $100. This is separate from the school competition, so you can win both ways.

What's included in the Juno-sponsored event?
We'll work with your school and student leaders to create a fun and memorable experience: a happy hour, speaker event, or something more creative. We cover the cost and help coordinate.

Is there any cost or obligation to join?
Nope! Joining is 100% free with no obligation to take out a loan. You're simply joining a group of dental students negotiating for better rates together.

Who can I reach out to with questions?
Reply to any of our emails or reach us at hello@joinjuno.com. We're here to help!
